In this project, we focused on designing and 3D printing custom protective housings for various types of industrial sensors, including temperature sensors, pressure sensors, proximity sensors, and optical sensors. The housings were designed with a seamless, watertight structure for moisture protection, while precise cutouts allowed accurate sensor readings without obstruction. For high-temperature applications, we used a heat-resistant Nylon blend, ensuring that the housings maintained their shape and integrity under continuous exposure to heat.
Our Nylon 3D printed sensor housings demonstrated excellent performance in real-world tests, maintaining their protective properties even in challenging industrial conditions.
